Upper forward fuselage goes together very quickly. There is one angle piece that needs fabricated, but the rest is just cutting and deburring, and match drilling a few pieces. Seems very small and quick compared to sideskins. Angle brace that has to be fabricated. Only hard part is getting the bend in the end. Forward skin installed. I am holding off riveting it together until I get and test fit the aerosport carbonfiber panel, and layout my avionics to see if any of the ribs will need cut and re-enforced. Having it in place really makes it look like more of a plane. I can't wait until I can get the cabin top on. Proabably a couple more months. |
