To attach the tailcone, I first had to make room in my basement shop.  I took the wings up to my garage and brought the tail down from the garage where it had been stored for the last 9 months.  My parents are in town, so I had there help in moving all the stuff around.

Here my mom helps cleoc the tail on.
First you take the 1006 bulkhead off the tail and match drill it to the bagage ribs.  then connect the tail and match drill the skins and Longerons.  I had to take the tail off twice to trim some of the logerons (one in tail, one in fuselage) so that they would not interfere with the other parts.
Before removing the tail, I had to check that I was going to be able to get the plane out of the basement with the tail on.  My doors are on the side of a long room, so I was not sure if I was going to be able to get it out.  If not, then before the tail attach I was going to have to move up to the unheated/AC garage.
After much rearanging of the shop to clear space for the plane to move, we were able to manuver it out the door.  Had to remove 1 door to get it to clear.  I am very happy I will get to continue in the basement.
My dad in the background who was helping guide it out the door.
After rearanging the shop again after moving the plane back into position.
Then some countersinking, and then the tail comes off to deburr.
Tail has now been dimplied and attached back on with proseal.  Riveting will start tomorrow.
