Changes from plans:
  • Added extra nutplate next to one hinge on for an electrical bonding strap to go to the HS on each elevator.

Start to Finish of Elevators

Elevators were very similar to the Rudder, although a lot more parts as you are building 2 of them, and 2 trim tabs.
Only the last couple rivets in each skin were difficult. I had Brian Michael's help again with the proseal steps which really helped.  The time period for the elevators is so long as I build the tailcone while waiting for Brian to be ready for the prosealing step, and then kept with the tailcone before going back to the elevators.
